BUSINESS MODELS
Regarding the location, installation and equipping of the coffee shops, JAVA TIMES CAFFE (JTC) has developed four different business models:
1) JTC EXPRESSO CART: These are mobile sales points that may be installed in shopping malls, supermarkets/department stores, transportation hubs (bus terminals, airports, etc.), parking lots, universities and exhibition/conference centers, amongst other locations. The advantage of the EXPRESSO CART is that they can be moved and reinstalled as needed within the Licensees established License territory. Eventually, they can be adapted, as part of the License agreement, to modules for events and banquets[1].
2) JTC KIOSK: The availability and costs associated with larger operations may limit the possibilities of construction a location. Our Kiosk concept is perfect for these situations. They are designed to be located in areas between 650 and 1100 sq. ft. (60 to 100 sq. Meters). This concept will allow for practically a full service coffee shop in a smaller and functional space. It is ideal for location in shopping malls, airports, universities, hospitals, government offices, etc.
3) JTC CAFETERÍA: This concept must be situated in a good location, with high pedestrian or vehicle traffic, with a minimum of 650 sq. ft. (60 sq. meters) and up to 330 sq. ft. (300 sq. meters). The space and design of the sales floor is visually appealing y flexible with the possibility of adding a Drive Thru window. The Drive Thru would only be installed if considered convenient, taking into consideration market conditions and the characteristics of the location that would be viable to offer this service.
4) JTC DRIVE THRU: This concept is exclusively designed to offer the Drive Thru service. It has been developed for smaller locations of between 980 and 1600 sq. ft (90 to 150 sq. meters). It will have a double window design to service a higher vehicular traffic and provide a high customer service level. The location would be near banks, hotels, department stores, supermarkets and other areas with high vehicular traffic and residential neighborhoods.
